We are thrilled that Oak PM is a partner organisation for Construction Industry Federation (CIF)’s Safety Month. Our commitment to safety and well-being has been at the forefront of our recent endeavours. Last week, Construction Manager Brian Leach spearheaded a crucial discussion on dust control, rallying our subcontractors in this critical effort.
Currently, we are managing an interesting project, tackling the unusual challenge of constructing a streetscape within the confines of a large building. The inherent hazards, typically manageable in an outdoor setting, have presented us with amplified challenges in this indoor environment. Our adherence to local operating procedures, implementation of safe systems of work, and a collaborative team approach have been instrumental in ensuring a secure working environment throughout the project.
This week, our Operations Manager Michelle Perry arranged for a session on Mental Health, inviting our esteemed QEHS Manager Fergus Foran, who also serves as our in-house Mental Health First Aider. Fergus shed light on the importance of mental well-being and introduced our subcontractors to the valuable services provided by The Lighthouse Club
Join us in prioritising safety and well-being as we continue to champion a culture of security and support. Together, let’s build a safer, healthier work environment for all.
